Thornburn Ladies' Badminton Association
Thornburn Ladies' Badminton Association Inc. is a club that has about 60 members. It was established in the early 1980s.
Matches are played on a Thursday in a graded competition, section 1 in the mornings (9:30am - 12:15pm) and section 2 in the afternoons (12:00pm - 2:30pm). The club is suited to players with some experience in playing badminton, although different levels of competence are catered for.
The match venue is the Nunawading Community Hub, 96-106 Springvale Road, Nunawading.
The rally points system is used to score the matches (introduced by the International Badminton Federation in 2005). TLBA is affiliated with Badminton Victoria.
The cost of playing is $120 per season (a semester) which includes registration and insurance with Badminton Victoria.
